Yeah. This is how I feel every time I write my first blog post... Uhhh....
Ah yes! Hello, I am Ashley, and this is my blog. I'll be writing all sorts of random things on here, from Book/Movie Reviews to I Completed an Item on My Bucket List posts. So hang on, because you're along for the ride.
So in this first post, I've decided that I'm going to tell you all about my blog title,
My Geeky Ramblings. If you think that link takes you anywhere, you're wrong. It takes you right back to where you are. Fun, right? Click it again! I dare you!
Just kidding, don't. Because that would be dumb. And.... Well, I guess I can't say you're not dumb, because I don't know who's reading this. But anyway, back to the point (If you are confused right now, immediately exit this site before I make your brain explode. Please.)- my blog title.
My Geeky Ramblings- I admit- came from an automatic blog name generator. BUT- but but but- I did not just choose this because it sounded cool.
Here's how it went- I clicked the "Generate Blog Name" button (I used
Gzzt, if you're having trouble thinking of a name, I HIGHLY recommend this site). This was the first name that came up -Geeky Ramblings. I wrote that down on a scrap of paper and kept clicking. Throughout my use of this awesome button, I came up with about six or seven names, including Foolish Dreams, Grey Thoughts, and Nerdy Notebook (all of which I thoroughly enjoyed), but I decided to use this one.
Why? I'm not sure. I guess it just sounded like me- I would consider myself a geek (it's called Dr. Who, Star Wars, and Psych), and I ramble and blab a TON on blog posts (you people who are clicking the red x right now understand). So that's how my blog name came about.
I'm suppose you're wondering when I will be admitted into the insane asylum. I'm pretty sure they're expecting us on Saturday. If you're still reading this, see you there!
